Team AC Dominates the Weekend: Tournament Wins, Big Fish, and Baits That Delivered

Three tournaments. Four podium finishes. One dominant weekend for Team AC

Some weekends are good. This past one was something else entirely.

Team Angler's Choice showed up, competed hard, and came home with hardware across multiple tournaments. Here is a breakdown of what went down and the baits that made it happen.

Pete Garnier Wins Quinte Bassmaster Solo

Fishing alone is one thing. Winning alone is another. Pete Garnier did exactly that at the Quinte Bassmaster event on Saturday, bringing in a dominant 25.17 lb bag to take the top spot. If that was not enough, Pete also claimed the Big Fish Belt for the heaviest single fish of the tournament.

His approach was straightforward and effective: a 1-2 punch built around the Angler's Choice 2.8" Ammo Tube. When the bait is right and the angler knows how to fish it, the results speak for themselves.

Hamilton and Mantik Win the TBBA 2nd Qualifier on Long Point

Also on Saturday, Bill Hamilton and Dave Mantik were putting in work on Long Point at the TBBA 2nd Qualifier. Their 21.64 lb bag was enough to edge out the competition and take the win, with the 3.75" Ammo Tube in Watermelon Purple G and Bi-Polar doing the heavy lifting throughout the day.

Owen and Bill Walker also represented Angler's Choice well, weighing in 20.13 lbs to finish in 7th place. A strong showing all around.

Sunday on Long Point: Momentum Carries Over

The TBBA 3rd Qualifier on Sunday proved that Saturday was no fluke. Owen and Bill Walker came back with 21.44 lbs to finish 5th, building on what they had dialed in the day before. Hamilton and Mantik added 19.62 lbs for an 8th place finish, continuing to stack up valuable Team of the Year points.

Where Things Stand

After three qualifiers, Bill Hamilton & Dave Mantik and Owen & Bill Walker are sitting inside the Top 5 in the Team of the Year standings. The season is far from over, and the momentum is real.

Carl Linker and Mike Linzmajor: Mitchell's Bay Open

Before we close the book on recent results, a well-deserved shoutout to Carl Linker and Mike Linzmajor, who put together a strong performance at the Mitchell's Bay Open on July 10th and 11th, finishing in 6th place. CL Goby Ammunition Tubes did the heavy lifting for them throughout the event, and that finish is a testament to both their skill on the water and the confidence they have in the bait. Congratulations, Carl and Mike.

Built to Perform

Tournament after tournament, across some of the most competitive bass fisheries in the country, one thing keeps showing up in the results: Angler's Choice Ammunition Tubes. From the St Lawrence River to Lake Ontario, Lake Erie to Lake St Clair and beyond, our tubes are consistently putting weight in the livewells of bass anglers across the Great Lakes. That is not a coincidence. It is the result of baits built in-house, in our own facility, with the kind of attention to detail that serious anglers demand.

Congratulations to Pete, Bill & Dave, Owen & Bill, Carl & Mike, and the entire Team AC crew. The season is not over yet. Let's keep it going.
